3 cups sugar
1/4 cup pickling salt
1 quart white vinegar
1 gallon green tomatoes chopped
1 quart onion chopped
1/2 quart hot pepper chopped (can use some bell peppers)
Bring sugar, pickling salt, and vinegar to a boil. Add all the vegetables and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes.
Then can them. Should make about 8 pints.
